✦ THE PERFECT NARROW ACCENT

This is the rug for the spaces most people give up on. The narrow bathroom. The tight hallway. The strip beside the bed. The awkward doorway that nothing ever fits.

At 1.7x3.7 ft, this small vintage Turkish runner fills those spaces with exactly the right amount of character — soft, neutral, and quietly beautiful.

The field is a soft ivory cream, covered edge to edge with an all-over scrolling vine and botanical floral pattern in warm taupe and brown tones — the kind of muted, tonal composition that photographs beautifully and works with almost any interior. Dusty blush pink and slate blue accents appear throughout the field and in the geometric borders running top and bottom, adding just enough color to lift the piece without competing with anything around it.

The distressing is real — decades of genuine use have softened the pile and mellowed the colors into a warm, lived-in patina. This is what vintage actually looks like.

Works perfectly as:

- A narrow bathroom runner — soft wool underfoot, beautiful character

- A bedside accent — long enough to run alongside a bed

- A hallway accent — filling a tight corridor with warmth

- A kitchen strip — beside the sink or stove

- A layering piece — placed over a larger neutral rug

✦ THE STORY BEHIND THIS RUG

This rug was woven by a woman. Not in a factory. Not by machine. But by hand — on a loom, at home, in a village in Anatolia. Decades ago, Turkish women wove these rugs either to furnish their own homes or to contribute to the family's income.

We source these rugs directly from old homes and private collectors across Turkey. When we find one, it is professionally cleaned and carefully prepared before it reaches you.

You will never find another exactly like it.
