This handmade pillow cover is crafted with care from premium upcycled jute sack fabric, selected for its especially rich texture and warm natural tones. It represents the very best of what kendir can become — honest, beautiful, and entirely one of a kind.

What is Kendir / Burlap Jute?

Kendir is the traditional Anatolian name for jute, a natural fiber with a heritage stretching back centuries. Woven by hand into heavy agricultural sacks, kendir was the unsung material of rural life — strong, natural, and built to last. We source premium-quality kendir sacks, wash them carefully by hand, and transform the finest pieces into artisan home textiles. When you choose a handmade kendir pillow cover, you are choosing a material with a story, a craft with intention, and a home accessory that cannot be replicated by any machine or mass production process.
