About This Rug:

This one-of-a-kind Christmas stocking is cut from an authentic vintage Turkish rug and carries the soft, faded charm of the original weaving. A faded terracotta field carries a scattered garden of hand-knotted flowers, with a navy blue and pink bloom among sage green leaves on the upper left, a sage green, navy blue and cream flower with a rust orange center on the upper right, and small cream flowers outlined in dark brown near the top. A large cream flower with teal, sage green, pink and navy petals sits at mid-leg, and the heel and rounded toe carry dark brown scrolling leaves, sage green and cream leaves, and a cream and teal flower. The low, hand-trimmed pile shows the hand-knotted construction and gives the piece a soft, lived-in character. Each piece is cut from a different rug, so the stocking you receive has its own character.

Perfect For:

A colorful, vintage-feeling stocking for a bohemian, eclectic or warm-toned mantel, fireplace, staircase banister or console table, with terracotta, navy and sage tones that bring a rich, cozy note to Christmas and pair beautifully with evergreen garlands and warm lighting. Also a thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gift for anyone who loves vintage textiles and authentic handmade decor.
