About This Rug:

This one-of-a-kind Christmas stocking is cut from an authentic vintage Turkish rug and carries the rich, earthy palette of the original weave. A deep olive green field is decorated with a large cream flower, apricot leaves and dusty rose scrolling vines, all outlined in dark brown, while rosettes in terracotta, apricot and cream gather around the heel and the green toe closes the design. The low, hand-trimmed pile shows the fine hand-knotted structure beneath, with a few small lighter specks that tell of the rug's long previous life. Each piece is cut from a different rug, so the stocking you receive has its own individual character.

Perfect For:

A rich, earthy stocking for a rustic cabin, farmhouse or traditional mantel, a fireplace display, a staircase banister or a holiday console table, with an olive green that sits naturally beside evergreen garlands, pinecones and candlelight. It also makes a thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gift for anyone who loves vintage textiles and authentic handmade decor.
