About This Rug:

This one-of-a-kind Christmas stocking is cut from an authentic vintage Turkish rug and carries the soft, faded charm of the original weaving. A sage green cuff carries a large peach and apricot flower with a salmon center and sage outline, above a mustard gold field where black and dark brown scrolls curl around sage green leaf clusters. A large peach palmette with a sage green clover center sits at mid-leg, and the sage green lower leg and rounded toe carry salmon pink rosettes outlined in dark brown and black, with a cream rose near the toe. The low, hand-trimmed pile shows the hand-knotted construction and gives the piece a soft, lived-in character. Each piece is cut from a different rug, so the stocking you receive has its own character.

Perfect For:

A soft, vintage-feeling stocking for a farmhouse, cottage or neutral-toned mantel, fireplace, staircase banister or console table, with gentle sage, peach and salmon tones that bring a quiet, nostalgic note to Christmas and pair beautifully with evergreen garlands and warm lighting. Also a thoughtful, one-of-a-kind gift for anyone who loves vintage textiles and authentic handmade decor.
