This one-of-a-kind runner began as part of a larger hand-knotted Turkish rug woven in Isparta circa the 1970s-1980s. In 2026, SFA Trading carefully cut and reshaped it into a runner, hand-stitching the new edge for lasting durability. The wool pile has been trimmed low in our signature finish, letting the faded medallion pattern in blue, coral pink, and cream take center stage. Decades of use have given it a soft, naturally faded patina that only a real vintage textile carries.

This rug was woven by hand - not in a factory, but on a loom in a village in Anatolia. Turkish women wove these rugs to furnish their homes or support their families, each pattern chosen by the weaver herself. No two rugs are ever identical.

We source these rugs from old homes and private collectors across Turkey, where many have rested for decades. Each piece is prepared according to its condition: dust is removed, the pile may be carefully evened, and the rug is professionally cleaned. When a rug is cut or reshaped, its new edges are securely hand-stitched; unaltered rugs are never described as cut or remade.

What you receive is a one-of-a-kind textile that survived decades and was made by someone's hands. You will never find another exactly like it.

Care & Cleaning:

Decorative vintage floor covering for household use. Use a suitable non-slip rug pad to reduce slipping and movement. Keep away from open flames, high heat, prolonged moisture, and direct sunlight. This is not a toy. Check periodically for loose fibers or stitching. Professional cleaning is recommended.
